Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will accept up to 10,000 applications for the Parents and Grandparents Program this year.

Starting July 28, 2025, IRCC will send invitations over about two weeks to people who want to sponsor their parents or grandparents.

If you filled out an interest-to-sponsor form in 2020 but haven’t received an invitation yet, check the email address you provided in 2020, including your junk or spam folders.

Because there are still many forms from 2020, IRCC will send invitations from that list instead of opening a new form.
