Melbourne Polytechnic is thrilled to announce that starting 1 November 2025, every international student applying to Melbourne Polytechnic will be eligible for a scholarship — no separate application required!  

The new scholarship program will replace the current International Higher Education Scholarship (10% and 20%) and will be automatically applied to students’ offer letters from 1 November 2025. 

Melbourne Polytechnic International Scholarships

Melbourne Polytechnic’s International Scholarships recognise and support outstanding international students who wish to study full-time in a VET, undergraduate, or postgraduate program with them.

Melbourne Polytechnic International High Achiever Scholarship – Up to 30%

A merit-based scholarship for new offshore international students applying for Higher Education (HE) programs.

Benefits: 10%, 20%, or 30% tuition fee reduction based on academic achievement.
Eligibility: Available for offshore students from selected countries: Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Vietnam.

Melbourne Polytechnic Aspire Scholarship – 20%

For current Melbourne Polytechnic Bachelor students progressing into a Master’s degree.
Benefits: 20% tuition fee reduction.
Eligibility: Available to current Bachelor students continuing into postgraduate study.

Melbourne Polytechnic Excellence Scholarship – 10%

For both onshore and offshore international students applying for Higher Education or VET programs. Depending on the study area, the scholarship is awarded under one of the following categories:

• Excellence in STEM
• Excellence in Business
• Excellence in Arts and Design
• Excellence in Human Services
• Excellence in Food and Fibre

Benefits: 10% tuition fee reduction.
Eligibility: Available to all new onshore and offshore applicants for HE or VET programs
