UHE is pleased to announce an exciting enhancement to some programs. From 2026 onwards, every eligible student in Bachelor of Information Technology, Master of Information Technology and Master of Engineering Management degrees will be guaranteed an internship placement as part of their course. This development strengthens employment-focused outcomes and gives prospective students a powerful reason to choose UHE.

How Internships Work:
Internships are built into the course structure and supported directly by UHE. Eligible students will complete an internship during their degree, with the internship format matched to their readiness and progress. Students may undertake:
- a company placement (individual)
- a group internship working collaboratively on a real project
- an on-campus internship connected to industry partners
Internships will be supported through our industry partnership network, giving students real project experience, mentoring, and workplace exposure before graduation.
