The University of South Carolina (USC) has shared an important update for students interested in postgraduate STEM programs within the College of Engineering for Fall 2026.
STEM-Designated Postgraduate Programs

- Chemical Engineering (ME/MS)

New Fellowship – Fall 2026
All students accepted into the above programs will receive a fellowship, reducing tuition to the in-state rate, making USC more accessible for international students.
Tuition Details
For Direct MAP Students:
- Non-Resident Tuition: $14,980
- Savings with Fellowship: $8,113
- New Resident Fellowship Rate: $6,867 per semester
For Graduate Pathway (Advanced MAP) Students:
- Semester 1 Tuition: $16,588
- Scholarship: Up to $4,000
- Amount Paid (after scholarship): $12,588
- After Progression to Degree: Fellowship awarded, Resident Tuition Rate: $6,867 per semester
