University of Huddersfield Revised Scholarship Structure (From 1 April 2026)

The University of Huddersfield is pleased to introduce its updated scholarship structure for international students commencing their studies from 1 April 2026 onwards. These scholarships are designed to reward academic excellence and support students financially throughout their studies.

Merit-Based Scholarships

  • Up to £4,000 available for international students (Undergraduate & Postgraduate)
  • Scholarships are automatically awarded based on academic performance
  • No separate application is required

Undergraduate Scholarships (No Change)

  • Up to £4,000 per year
  • Awarded based on academic merit
  • Available throughout the duration of the undergraduate programme

Postgraduate Scholarships (Updated)

  • Revised scholarship structure applies to all postgraduate students
  • Applicable for those commencing studies from 1 April 2026 onwards
  • Awards are based on academic achievement

Early Payment Discount (Undergraduate Only)

  • £500 discount on tuition fees
  • Available to students who pay their full deposit by 31 May 2026
  • Applicable for the September 2026 intake only

Domicile Scholarship (Undergraduate Only)

  • Up to £5,000 per year (excluding placement year)
  • Awarded through a manual admissions process
  • Available to students from the following countries:
    • Vietnam
    • Malaysia
    • Indonesia
    • Taiwan
    • Hong Kong
    • Turkey
    • Kenya
    • Ghana
    • Egypt
    • Azerbaijan
    • Uzbekistan
    • Algeria

  • Scholarships are subject to terms and conditions set by the University
  • Awards are based on academic eligibility and programme requirements
  • Students may only receive one scholarship or discount at a time, unless otherwise stated
