Bachelor of Diagnostic Radiography Update – Important Information for Prospective Students
The University has announced that the Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) will be replaced by the Bachelor of Diagnostic Radiography from 2027 onwards.
The new program is currently under assessment for availability to international students and remains subject to CRICOS approval. A further update is expected within the next month.
All impacted applicants and offer holders have already been contacted by the Admissions Team and will receive guidance regarding their available options and next steps.
Alternative Study Pathways
Students may wish to consider the following options:
✅ Bachelor of Paramedicine
✅ Bachelor of Physiotherapy
✅ Waiting to be considered for the Bachelor of Diagnostic Radiography (subject to approval for international students)
Session 2, 2026 Application Deadlines
Offshore Applicants
- New applications and Genuine Student (GS) document submissions are now closed.
- Students must complete the following by 12 June 2026:
- Accept their offer
- Allow sufficient processing time for Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) issuance
Onshore Applicants
- Bachelor of Nursing applications close: 3 July 2026
- All other program applications close: 27 July 2026
Applicants are encouraged to submit all required documents well before the relevant deadlines to avoid delays.
Vice-Chancellor International Excellence Scholarship
Applications remain open until 30 June 2026.
This prestigious scholarship provides a 50% tuition fee reduction for the entire duration of the course, making it one of the University's most valuable scholarship opportunities.
Eligible students are strongly encouraged to submit their scholarship applications before the closing date.
