Sheridan’s First Master’s Degree: New Program Spotlight – MAGIE
Sheridan College proudly marks a major milestone with the launch of its first-ever master’s degree program. Applications are now open for this groundbreaking initiative, representing a significant expansion of Sheridan’s academic portfolio and reinforcing its global reputation in the creative industries.
Introducing the Master of Animation, Games, and Immersive Experiences (MAGIE)—a forward-thinking program designed for the next generation of creative professionals. MAGIE builds on Sheridan’s strengths in animation, digital media, and storytelling, offering students the opportunity to develop advanced skills in cutting-edge fields such as game design, immersive technologies, and interactive experiences.
This two-year, full-time program will begin in November 2026 and will be delivered in person at the Trafalgar Campus. As a PGWP-aligned program, it provides international students with valuable post-graduation work opportunities in Canada.
A standout feature of MAGIE is its Work Integrated Learning component, which includes an internship. This hands-on experience allows students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings, build industry connections, and enhance their career readiness.
